Marisa Viana is an indigoeuse women from the Brazilian Amazon. She is an intersectional feminist who currently serves as the Executive Coordinator of RESURJ, a transnational alliance of feminist activists from the global south working to make sexual and reproductive justice a reality. Marisa has mobilized young feminists globally, regionally and nationally demanding sexual and reproductive justice. She has worked with various feminist organizations to promote sexual and reproductive rights and body autonomy.

She holds a Diploma in International Relations and Environmental Social Justice from Northeastern University and a Masters in Public Health – Population and Family Health from Columbia University.
