Education: Lawyer from the University of the Republic in Uruguay. Master’s degree (LL.M.) from the University of Oxford. Diploma in Women’s Human Rights from the Austral University. Doctor in International Law from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands (PhD).

Career: She is a Research Associate at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University and Supervisor of the Human Rights Legal Clinics at the University of Amsterdam. 

She is a member of the Abortion Without Borders network.
